About the Artist

Gretchen Villaluna Baria has been a professional artist since 1996. When photographing events and portraits, she enjoys being creative, striving to make each shot a work of art. Her background in dance, martial arts, music, theater, and writing adds to her unique style.

Gretchen has been in the entertainment industry for over 10 years, and works closely with FLOW Entertainment in every aspect from photographing events to designing their logo and also dancing with the FLOW family. She donates her time and photography to charitable and non-profit organizations, such as Camp One Step at a Time, Accion Chicago, American Cancer Society, and many schools in the Chicagoland area.

She was awarded a full scholarship to attend Northern Illinois University, where she studied Psychology and Art, and graduated with honors. After college, she fused her two interests and practiced Art Therapy in Evanston, IL.

She currently lives in Chicago with her husband, Nic, and their 2 dogs. Gretchen and Nic enjoy food, traveling, and creating music. They wrote and produced an album just for their wedding: http://www.thenapsmusic.com
